These terms apply to quotations, confirmations, and invoices from Gamlebyen Mat & Drikke AS unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A booking is considered confirmed when written acceptance is received and any required deposit is paid. Invoices are issued according to the offer or contract schedule.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment terms are net invoice date and may include statutory late fees.
Deposits secure date, staffing, and procurement. The deposit amount and due date are stated in your offer or confirmation.
Deposits are generally non-refundable unless cancellation rights are explicitly stated otherwise.
Cancellation charges depend on notice period, purchased stock, and committed labor. Detailed charge levels are specified in the accepted offer and event confirmation.
Requests to reschedule are handled case-by-case and depend on venue, staffing, and supplier availability.
Final guaranteed guest count must be submitted by the deadline stated in your confirmation. Billing is based on the final guarantee or actual attendance, whichever is higher, if this is stated in the contract.
Service level and staffing model are defined in the agreed scope. Equipment and rentals arranged by Kanon Catering remain our responsibility unless damaged by customer-side actions.
Equipment provided by third parties may have separate practical constraints, timing windows, and return terms.
The customer is responsible for losses or damages caused by attendees, hired suppliers, or misuse of venue and equipment under their control.
Our liability is limited to direct, documented losses up to the contract value, except where mandatory law states otherwise.
Neither party is liable for delay or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, strikes, government restrictions, utility outages, or supplier disruption.
Both parties should mitigate impact and agree practical alternatives where possible.
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute not solved through dialogue is subject to the competent Norwegian court unless mandatory law requires another venue.
